The LEC for the Professional Learning Leader course content resides in this website. You can think of this as the online textbook in which all content is housed including:
Similarly to navigating a textbook, the site is broken into Modules/Chapters. Each Module is broken into sections, and each Section consists of content. This section will provide an overview of navigating through the course. The image below provides an example of Module 2.

Modules
Leading Edge Certification for the Professional Learning Leader is broken up into eight modules. All content, activities, discussions, and portfolio projects reside inside one of the eight modules. The eight modules are named the following:
- Introduction
- Professional Learning
- Models of Professional Learning
- Developing Community
- Digital Literacy & Citizenship
- Developing and Implementing a Vision
- Professional Learning Environments
- Portfolio & Closure
Modules are denoted by numbers. Modules consist of sections with content and are denoted by letters.
To access any one module, use the navigation bar on top. Each module begins with an introduction. When you hover your mouse over a module, a drop down menu with the sections of that module will appear.
All modules (except for Module 1) consist of a section called Additional Resources and Reflection that include an assignment checklist and supplemental/further readings and information. Also, all modules (except for Module 1) consist of a section called Portfolio Assignment that consists of the summative assessment for that module.
Icons are also being used throughout the content to help you determine where you are in the course. Use this icon guide to help you determine where you are in the course.
